Jamal Sellami is a former Moroccan footballer and current football coach. He was born on April 16, 1960, in Casablanca, Morocco.
Sellami began his professional football career at the age of 17 with the Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca in 1977. He played as a midfielder and captained the team for many years, leading them to several domestic titles including five Botola titles, two African Champions League titles, and a CAF Super Cup.
Sellami also played for the Moroccan national team, making 33 appearances and scoring two goals between 1978 and 1989.
After retiring from playing football, Sellami transitioned into coaching. He has coached several Moroccan clubs, including Wydad, Raja Casablanca, FAR Rabat, Difaa El Jadidi, and Fath Union Sport. He has also coached the Moroccan national team in an interim capacity.
Sellami is known for his tactical acumen and is highly respected in Moroccan football circles. He has won several titles as a coach, including two Botola titles, two CAF Champions League titles, and two CAF Confederation Cup titles.
